Cranberry Sauce

Cranberry sauce is a sauce or relish made out of cranberries, commonly served as a condiment or a side dish with Thanksgiving dinner in North America and Christmas dinner in the United Kingdom and Canada.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Bag Cranberries, 340 Grams
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice

Equipment

  • 1 Medium Saucepan

Method
 

  1. Place all ingredients in a medium to large saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Allow the Cranberries to boil for approximately 5 minutes until the skins pop, they start to break down a bit and the sauce starts to thicken.
  3. Let cool and refridgerate until ready to serve
