Prospector Buns are a light, buttery dinner roll of tastiness. Delicious on their own or lightly brush with butter and add a sprinkle of herbs and Parmesan before baking for a flavour twist.

Prospector Buns

Ingredients

The following ingredients are needed in order to make Prospector Buns:

  • 1 cup Water, Luke warm
  • 1/4 cup Oil
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg, Lightly Beaten
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 3 cups Flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp Bread Machine Yeast

This is a bread machine recipe, so you need to ensure you are using Bread Machine yeast and not dry active yeast.

How to make Prospector Buns

  • Add all ingredients to a Bread Machine in the order listed.
  • Set on dough setting.
  • Generously grease a sheet of wax paper. When Break Machine is finished, turn dough onto wax paper and form into a log.

  • Cut into 12 equal pieces and put in greased muffin tin. Let rise 30 minutes.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 12 – 15 minutes

Notes

Optional flavour twist – lightly brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with parmesan and herbs.
